Welcome, family

Welcome to the Mayhew family blog! I created this blog to be a meeting place for the family. Anyone can join and post pictures, updates, memories, etc., and it’s completely free. (Just remember, anything you post will be available on the World-Wide Web!) What you need to do to be able to post, is to go to www.wordpress.com. From there you need to register by providing your email address and a username. Once you are registered, send me your email address, and I will add your name to the blog as a author. Once I do that, you will have access to the “dashboard” of the blog, and it will enable you to post things. Make sense? It is pretty easy to figure out once you do it.

My husband has had a WordPress blog for over a year, and I have many friends who have used WordPress for a long time, so I feel confident in telling you that there are no gimmicks with this site.
